Algeria Army Deploy More Troops on Border With Libya to Anticipate Arms Trafficking

The National Army forces have been toughening control over the eastern borderline to anticipate any attempt of smuggling arms to the country.

Well informed sources said dozens heavy engines and military devices were carried on tractors down to easternmost borderline in the locality of Tin el Koum, where crossing posts with Libya are situated.

To recall, Algeria government has already decided closing the three crossing posts with Libya, a couple of days ago.

Military reinforcements have been deployed all along the borderline with Libya until the southern border with Niger, including the localities of Irikine and Takist considered as safe-haven passages of arm traffickers.

The army forces tend to watch up the entire eastern borderline with strife torn Libya and Niger regarding the growing risk of smuggling arms to the country by terror groups.
