Algeria defence ministry keeps watch on surveillance cameras

Algeria created a new institution in charge of setting up surveillance cameras on official and sensitive bodies under the supervision of the national defence ministry, according to a presidential decree.

• The new institution which will be part of the economic sector of the Popular National Army will be in charge of after sale services and organising training sessions for the using sectors.
•  
• The management board will include representatives of information and security section, the National Gendarmerie, the military industries department, finance department, interior ministry and the national security department.
•  
• The board will keep watch on the running of the institution in conformity with the national defence ministry system.
•  
• This institution is likely to provide the state bodies with security surveillance of high quality and protect them from any possible attack.
