Algeria First President Passes Away

Algeria first president Ahmed Benbella died on Wednesday, in his residence in Algiers, at the age of 96 years old, the locaml APS news agency reported.Mr Benbella suffered a long malady and due to follow special medical care, before succumbing to his illness. The deceased was a key member in the Algerian revolution, and became the first President of Algeria in 1962.
