Informed sources told Echorouk, that Algeria directly and indirectly intervened to mediate in ending the war between the two sides, through the use of a number of sheikhs of Adnan tribe and notables of the Tuareg, and through Chad to influence on the Toubou, in order to end the armed conflict between the two sides.
Algeria initiative to end this side war in Libya away from the militias’ wars in the middle and the east of Libya, through work of the battalion under the command of the Libyan pro-government army in Tripoli, to ensure security in the region and an end to the proliferation of arms in the tribal areas.
