Algeria offers 20 scholarships to Malian students
Twenty Malian students benefiting from Algerian scholarships leave Bamako on Tuesday for Algeria to further their studies in building, public works, IT and audiovisual techniques, Mali's employment and vocational training ministry has told PANA.
It said the beneficiaries, including two women, were chosen by a commission after the review of the training courses proposed and in conformity with the needs of the labour market in Mali.
They are all holders of the baccalaureate or technician’s certificate. Their training will last 30 months.
Algeria has since Mali’s independence in 1960 offered scholarships to Malian students.
