Algeria / Ouyahia meets with public Bank Managers to speed up bank credits to young business promoters

The Head of Government Ahmed Ouyahia Sunday chaired in Algiers a broad-based meeting with public Bank Managers to examine ways of speeding up the granting of bank credits to young business promoters.

• The General Manager of the CPA Bank Mohamed Djellab affirmed to this effect that this encounter, held at the request of the prime Minister, had shed light on the best approach to be adopted by the financial bodies in order to involve them directly in the financing process of the national economy in several fields of the endeavour.
• The financing of the manifold projects, initiated by young Algerian promoters, were also high on the meeting’s agenda.
• The participants agreed on the imperious necessity of urgently lifting all lingering bureaucratic hurdles which have been blocking the achievement of these projects, deemed as useful to the national economy.
