Algeria Ranks 5th Most Powerful Air Force In The Middle East
Countries’ Air Force Competence is an important element in determining the conduct of the battle, as armies which have a strong air control can radically divert the war on the ground.
According to the website “Global Fire Power” which is specialized in analyzing the countries’ military affairs, including the total aircraft number and strength by the countries’ armies in the Middle East, Algeria ranks fifth.
It said the Algerian Air Force has 551 varied aircraft, according to 2019 statistics, including the number of fighter jets, interceptors, helicopters, military transports, and advanced trainers.
Egypt ranks first in the region with 1,092 various warplanes, ahead of Turkey, which is second with 1,067 warplanes.
Saudi Arabia ranks third with a number of aircraft up to 848 various warplanes, ahead of the Zionist entity (Israel), which came in fourth place with the possession of 595 warplanes.
UAE ranks sixth with 541 warplanes, ahead of Iran, which ranks seventh with 509 aircraft.
