Algeria Strongly Condemns The Israeli Attacks On Occupied Jerusalem
On Sunday, Algeria strongly condemned the racist attacks on Palestinian civilians in occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli denial of the freedom to practice religious rites at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the repeated attempts to legitimize the logic of seizing the lands of Palestinians by force.
According to a foreign ministry statement: “Algeria condemns in the strongest terms the racist and extremist attacks recorded in the occupied city of Jerusalem against Palestinian civilians, the Israeli denial of the freedom to practice religious rites at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the repeated attempts to legitimize the logic of seizing the lands of Palestinians by force and imposing sovereignty over this holy city as well, in flagrant violation of the International legitimacy’s decisions.
“In the face of these serious violations that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to implement against the defenceless Palestinian people, Algeria calls on the international community, in particular the UN Security Council, to move urgently to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and their sanctities and put an end to these criminal acts and stop the Israeli occupation policy of the Palestinian lands”, it added.
“Algeria affirms its full solidarity and permanent stand with the Palestinian people in their heroic struggle against the Israeli occupation renews its firm position to support the Palestinian cause until the Palestinian people regain their legitimate and inalienable rights, foremost of which is their right to establish their independent state, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital”.
