Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal gave an instruction to allocate four aircrafts at least to transport national football team’s fans in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals in South Africa, Echorouk has learnt.

Ticket real price is 250,000 DZ

Consultations are underway between sports ministry, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Air Algerie airline, Touring Club tourism agency, economic operators and the FAF’s partners and sponsors. They are working on finding an appropriate way to transport fans to South Africa.

Sources say expenses will be reduced as much as possible including ticket price and services.

A delegation will go to South Africa to check hotels

A delegation will be assigned to go to check hotels in South Africa and make an arrangement with their managers about food, accommodation and transportation.

Fans would stay in 4 or 3 star hotels as their prices are less expensive compared to other hotels. A report will be made by the delegation about its trip to South Africa and submitted to a commission in charge of fans, according to the same sources.

Ministry, Air Algerie, FAF’s partners will participate in the operation

Algerian sports ministry, Air Algerie, Touring Club agency and FAF’s partners including telephone operator Nedjma.

Early on Wednesday, Nedjma’s General Director Joseph Jed said he was ready to support the transportation of Algeria’s fans to South Africa.

The telephone operator’s press attaché told Echorouk Nedjma is ready to support any procedure to transport the national team’s fans to South Africa “as part of our constant efforts to stand by the national team’s side.”

In November 2009, the State transported thousands of Algeria’s fans to Sudan to attend a decisive match against Egypt. In 2010, hundreds of fans were transported to South Africa as the national teams were qualified to the World Cup finals.
