Algeria: Wholesale prices of fruits and vegetables posted on the Internet

The Algerian Trade Ministry has outlined a new plan whereby the wholesale prices of fruits and vegetables will be posted on the Internet on a daily basis.

In this connection, those in charge of the wholesale market “Emagfel” in the locality of Htatba in western Tipaza province have started posting online daily the prices of fruits and vegetables in a bid to inform in advance the potential customers frequenting regularly this wholesale market.

This laudable initiative has been widely hailed by the tradesmen and the customers alike as it will greatly help smooth and clear transactions by facilitating the delivery of these fresh products on time and with no hitch.

It will also allow all customers who regularly visit the Htatba wholesale market, to know beforehand the daily prices of fruits and vegetables before making on the spot orders with no hindrance as they will be already cognizant with the daily market fluctuations thanks to the Internet.
