Algeria will not give up social housing projects
Algerian housing minister Abdelmadjid Teboune Sunday said the first payable part for social public housing projects will be reduced to 50 million centimes compared to 100 million centimes paid by previous applicants.
Teboune added that the projects were launched in many provinces. A large number of conventions were concluded with accredited enterprises.
“A total of 41,200 applications were treated. Of them, there are 23,000 in Algiers and 33,000 accepted including 16,380 applicants in the capital. A total of 8,000 applications were rejected,” the minister told a national radio channel.
“Algerians living abroad are not concerned by the AADL and promotional housing projects. The ministry works on finding a way out to enable them to get houses,” he added.
