Algeria:Metro security guard plotting to kidnap French undeground workers.

Four suspects appeared yesterday before Algiers’ criminal court with charges over supporting terror groups in the wilaya of Boumerdes. The suspects were accused of supplying terror groups with telephone sim-cards and identity cards in addition to driving license cards. The court stated that the identity of the identity cards, driving license cards as well as sim-cards were unknown. A fifith suspect was charged with affiliation to a terror group after he joined the group in 2009. The five presumed terrorists are young people whom ages vary between 22 to 25 years old and living in different neighborhoods of Algiers. One of the five summoned people had declared to the police that accused person they used to work as a security guard in the metro project and was supposed to give details on the movement of a French workers serving in the metro project. The terror group was planning to kidnap the workers and ask for ransom. Yet, the same members of the terror group negated before the prosecutor. The fifth presumed terror group member reckoned he was member of a terror group but did not participate to any attack.
