Algerian Business volume up 11.5%, added value up 4.6%

The national industrial activity showed a 11.5% increase in business volume and a 4.6% rise in the added value during the first six months of 2011.

According to a report presented Monday by Minister of Industry, SMEs and Investment Promotion Mohamed Benmeradi during an assessment meeting chaired by the President of the Republic, as part of the annual hearings on the activities of the different sectors, the revival of industrial activity was pushed up by the building material, food-processing and pharmaceutical industries.
