Algerian community living in the French region of “Bretagne” in Nantes, and which voted on Tuesday in “Rennes”, protested against the policy of exclusion and marginalization that was adopted suddenly, according to them, as they found that the Consulate is not interested in their votes in the elections.

Members of the community, including doctors, professors and students expressed a major dissatisfaction in an open letter, a copy of it available to Echorouk, of the way the Consulate and parties treat them, and ignore their presence saying; “No one informs us about the day and place of elections, therefore, we did not vote, and unfortunately many of us have worked because they were unaware of the date of the election .. people did not go to the polls, and we as doctors have not programmed our work in a different day, so we were forced to work . It is a real sadness when we tried to get information from the Consulate which neglected its task to tell us about what is happening. As Algerians, we get heart when we watch empty offices despite our presence”.

On the other hand, heads of parties, issued a statement denouncing certain practices, which affected offices 2 and 3 on Tuesday morning, where a committee of judges and Consule of Marseille intervened to calm down the situation, through punishing the responsible for the situation, who tried to guide people to vote for on one Party, eventhough everyone made put his time, efforts and money for the sucess of the elections‭. ‬ ‮

‬The electoral process ‭stopped for almost an hour in the region, and heads of the lists ‭ ‬threatened to withdraw.
