Algerian forces find bodies of five terrorists killed by their fellows east of Algiers
Algerian ANP troops found, a few days ago, bodies of five terrorists, believed to belong to one of the GSPC (AQIM) battalions, buried in unmarked graves in Bouktan forest, on the border between Bordj Bouariridj and Bejaia, east of Algeria.

Reliable sources said that the bodies of the five terrorists have been transferred to Constantine hospital, east of Algeria, for autopsy and analysis, in order to determine the identities of the terrorists and find out the causes of their death.

The same sources told Echorouk that the five bodies were buried in grave that have been recently dug, meaning that the five terrorists were killed during the past few days or weeks, because they were not fully decomposed. The sources think that an internal fighting broke out between the members of the terrorist group, and this is the reason behing the killing of the five terrorists, excluding the hypothesis that they have been eliminated in one of the security forces clean-up operations, because no clashes took place in this region between the terrorists and armed troops during the past period.

Observers to the security matter believe that the five terrorists were the victim of an internal betrayal inside the GSPC (AQIM) because of their willingness to surrender to the security services or due to their opposition to the approach taken by the leadership of the terrorist group, thing which proves the true reality of the terrorists’ situation inside their terrorist groups, that was told by repentant terrorists or by those arrested during security operations, about the existence of a significant conflict among the ranks of the terrorists, against the backdrop of refusing the instructions and directives of the leaders, and the desire to benefit from the measures of the Charter of Peace and Reconciliation.

Identifying the identities of the five terrorists or some of them is expected to play a large role in determining the reasons of their death and ranking and functions inside the GSPC (AQIM).
