Algerian universities to recruit 5000 new applicants

The General Directorate of Civil Service will create 5000 new jobs in the higher seduction sector to meet the demand of the relevant ministry especially in the domain of teaching as part of the new system called “LMD”

•  The Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry has allocated a significant budget for the recruitment pf the new teachers in a move to offset the deficit ahead of the start of the academic year.

• In addition to the existing students, the Algerian universities are set to receive more than 240 thousand ones.

• The new recruits are mainly the temporary teachers who will get conformed in their posts in various universities across the country. The number of candidates concerned by this measure has reached 3500 out of 5023 new posts.

• The newly erected university of Tipaza, 70 KMS west of Algiers, with a capacity of 4000 seats will absorb the biggest number of teachers on account of the various specialities created out there like, the Archaeology Institute, Politics and International Relations, the Law institute, Commerce and Management and the law institute.
