Algerians to consume 200 tons of uncontrolled meat during Ramadan

Port management in Algeria is responsible of the rising prices of products, bureaucracy and blocking the activity of importers through stacking their products for months, which resulted in extra expenses that raise the prices of goods and this is hard for citizens, Hadj Taher Boulenouar, official spokesman of the Union of Traders said.

Representatives, owners of abattoirs, and wholesale meat traders, reveal that exchanges of chicken prices in Algeria are located under thetunnels of highways in several cities, and that the Algerians are buying meat of livestock that are slaughtered in valleys, while the doctorconfirmed in science of freezing that the cold rooms in Algeria does not respect the standards of food safety.


Hadj Taher Boulanouar, spokesman for the Federation of Traders, and Idir Saadi, Representative of the abattoirs’ owners, RamramMohammed Taher, and Chairman of the National Committee for Meat Traders, Ahmed Tchicou, Doctor of Science of freezing, revealed in the 11th press forum in Tipaza at the club media, on abuses taking place in the trade sector, especially including what causes the raise offood prices, as Boulanouar sees that part of the responsibility is due to the management of the ports, that imposed bureaucracy on tradersimporters through seizing their containers in the ports for up to six months often.


Boulanouar and Ramram regret the chaos that imposed influence in terms of the spread of parallel abattoirs, to the level of buildings that arenot conforming to standards of health and safety, as there are parties including dealers of meat that slaughter livestock in valleys in the absence of deterrent measures and controllers, adding that the Algerian consumers is exposed to the consumption of 200 tons of uncontrolled meat every day, during Ramadan.

    Algeria try to get the meat from india. What do you expect from you They can sell everything even donkey's.
