Algeria’s Islamists advise Muslim Brotherhood to avoid armed actions
Islamist activists in Algeria advised the Muslim Brotherhood and members of the Islamist movement in Egypt to not use violence following provocations such as coup, arrests and killings.
« The Muslim Brotherhood must use a peaceful way to response to the military coup against Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. Dominating nations and their agents in Egypt want to push Islamists to use violence, » Madani Mezrag, the national leader of the dissolved-Islamic Salvation Army told Echorouk on Friday.
« The Muslim Brotherhood’s ideas and their long experience in preaching will help them to use a peaceful way. They must not allow anyone to get Egypt involved in a civil war, » he added.
He believes that current difficlut moments will show about their awarness about cosnpiracies against them.
Speaking about arrests and killings among them, Mezrag said they have to « hold on principles and keep peaceful actions. All the world vouches for their legitimacy. »
Hachemi Sahnouni : violence will complicate the situation
Former member of the dissloved-Islamic Salvation front (FIS), Hachemi Sahnouni said there is a consipracy against the Muslim Brotherhood.
He believes that violence will not come up with a solution but it will complicate the situation and lead to a civil war.
« I advise them to do what Turkish activists did. They underwent arrests and consecutive coups until they managed to rule the country. Violence is a wrong way and will give the opporunity to ennemies to hold them responsible possible tragedies, » he said.
Abderrezak Mokri : armed action is not part of the Muslim Brotherhood’s principles
Leader of Algeria’s MSP party, Abderrezak Mokri said security forces may provoke the Muslim Brotherhood. « Yet, we are sure that they will be patient and will not carry out armed actions. »
He also said that other groups may not obey the Muslim Brotherhood and use violence.
He held the Egyptian army responsible for the crisis in the country.
Said Morsi : the Muslim Brotherhood must be hold on peaceful choice
Leader of Algeria’s Partisans party, Said Morsi called on the Muslim Brotherhoodto maintain the peaceful process but he believes that violence will undoubtly happen. « All that is because of what the Army did. President Morsi will not be allowed to rule the country once again. »
