Ali Haddad: “I have no intention of buying ‘SNVI’ Company”

The President of the FCE business forum, Ali Haddad, has stated that he has no intention of purchasing the state-owned commercial vehicle-manufacturing company “SNVI”, stressing that he supports it as a national company and that he doesn’t want to get into the company’s capital adding that that such an idea hasn’t crossed his mind at all.

In a statement to the press on Sunday on the sidelines of an inspection visit carried out a delegation of the forum with officials of the ministerial trade department to industry fair at the SAFEX exhibition hall on the outskirts of Algiers, Ali Haddad hailed the recent decision taken by Sellal’s government concerning the barring of the privatization or partial privatization of 12 public institutions described as strategic, similar to “Air Algérie”, “Sonatrach” and “Sonelgaz”, stressing that this is the best option and the most efficient one.

Ali Haddad also underscored that as president of the FCE Business Forum, he fully respected and valued the authorities’ chosen option to salvage these institutions.

Furthermore, he expressed admiration at the great development achieved by the domestic industry, noting that the national product has made a qualitative leap in comparison with the past years thanks to a sound managerial policy.

The country need to create anti competition committee to start with . this will prevent monopoly .
The country need to facilitate and create competition to deliver efficiencies and higher standard.
Entrepreneurs like Ali Haddad and Rabrab are very good for the country and economy, the government need to fully support them and support others like them BUT and big BUT, the government MUST micro manage their operations and movements. empowering wrong people will lead to disaster .
The government need to think about nationalisation of businesses that once belong to the country and stir away from privatisation .. unless the benefit to the country and its people is higher .
