Amar Ghoul to Echorouk: “Bouteflika withdrew form to run for a fourth term

Political Parties which support President Bouteflika’s Fourth Term decide to collect signatures for him, after one of his assistants withdrew, last week end, the documents for running for a fourth term officially from the Interior Ministry.

In this context, Head of Algeria Hope Rally, Amar Ghoul, asserted in a phone conversation with Echorouk on Saturday, that his party received the green light to collect signatures for its candidate for the Presidential Elections that will be organised on next April 17, in an explicit statement that a representative of Bouteflika withdrew the documents of running for elections, which would enable political parties, syndicates and associations that declared their support to Bouteflika, to collect signatures for running that have never been an obstacle for Bouteflika during three terms.

Ghoul refused to reveal on the name of the person that have been chosen by Bouteflika to represent him before the Interior Minister Tayeb Belaiz.

“For our party, we moved from the stage of supporting to the stage of real recruiting and organising a field campaign officially. Today, our battalions are ready to collect signatures”.

Ghoul refers to an instruction from the party’s leadership since two weeks, coinciding with Bouteflika’s call for the elected body for April 17 date.

This measure banned categorically this who belong to “Tadj” to sign for another candidate but Bouteflika, as said by the Transport Minister, who has been chosen formally after a secret action by 31 political parties, as their coordinator in supporting Bouteflika for April Elections.

This bloc is expected to meet here on Sunday at “Tadj” office to decide about the ways to devise roles and coordinate the work, as it is expected to include new parties that make the bloc join 40 parties instead of 31 who chose Ammar Ghoul as their coordinator and spokesman.

“Tadj” campaign is supported by 850.000 adherents, and 5000 elected from its raws, according to figures that were announced by its head.

The campaign started in parallel with FLN campaign, during which Saadani confirmed the official running of Bouteflika, as the party created 40 regional committees to collect signatures for Bouteflika, pending the joining of the Algerian Popular Movement, led by Amara Benyounes, who ordered his activists to sign for Bouteflika.
