Appointment of new Parliament structures stifles FLN
Speaker of the National People’s Assembly, Larbi Ould Khelifa blocked the process of appointing new structures of parliament after the renovation at the level of the parliamentary bloc of FLN.
Reliable sources told Echorouk on Friday, that Ould Khalifa, refused to reveal on the names that were proposed to take up seats of Vice-Presidents of the Parliament, as identical sources think that his refusal may be accompanied by high authorities’ instructions that stopped the process that sparked protests amid MPs in the party.
FLN’s General Coordinator, Abderrahmane Belaiat, told Echorouk at the scenes of the process that led to a list of 29 MPs; “Except for the refusal of the Minister Tayeb Louh, I have a mass agreement on the method of consultation following stopping the election, while Laila Tayeb gave her agreement to me after stopping the elections. The issue of the appointment is the only which remains unresolved, as Mohammed Allioui agreed on the appointment though he did not participate, while Ayachi Daadua did not participate. There are difficulties.”
Belaiat added that he do not have sufficient time to hold a meeting of the Political Bureau; “I hold collective consultation and I visited offices of the Ministers, Abdelaziz Ziari, Amar Tou and Rachid Harraoubia; “Over 120 MPs visited the party’s office, and they felt comfortable while speaking about the occurrence of fraud, and said I am the responsible.”
Regarding Habiba Bahlouli’s objection, Belaiat asserted; “She did not make any proposal on the approval of the appointment, and I have witnesses for agreement, and thye are Si Afif, Abdelkader Mechabek, and Djouhari Abdelaziz. Appointment is satisfying only 29 MPs and the rest are angry. She thought she can be one of the winners”.
