AQIM terrorists death toll reaches 12 east of Algiers

Algiers-Number of terrorists eliminated by the Algerian armed forces in Chouicha forest and Zemouri (east of Algiers) reaches 12, according to a last toll obtained by Echorouk.

Security services killed three terrorists in the forest of Mendoura and the municipality of Lekata in Boumerdes (east of Algiers). They identified six terrorists including the brother of “Al Marouki”, former leader of Zemouri sub-battalion, also relative of the terrorist “D.Khaled”, driver of the terrorist “Sadaoui Abdelhamid” nicknamed “Yahia Abulhaitham”, in charge of finance and foreign ties with Al Qaeda.

Armed forces in the midst of the ongoing military operation since four days in the forest of Chouicha in Zemmouri (east of Algiers), destroyed ten hideouts and retrieved 40 quintals of explosives stored there.

The military operation is still ongoing with the siege on dozens of terrorists who held a secret meeting along four leaders, but it was aborted after the arrest of two terrorists who leaked information to the security services.
