Baccalureate 2013 : ministerial commission re-corrects copies of cheating candidates

Regional education authorities Sunday submitted requests to the national education ministry to revise and re-correct copies of excluded pupils due to collective fraud in the Baccalureate exam.

The ministry asked the regional education authorities to transmit their requests before Sunday. A ministerial commission headed by a general inspector will re-correct the excluded copies of candidates who took the Baccalureate exam this year. They are involved in « collective fraud » in philosophy subject exam, according to reports.

Earlier, Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal told journalists the exclusion sanction against candidates incolved in fraud in philosophy subject was banned and they are allowed to retake the exam next year.

Echorouk has learnt that the number of requests submited at the regional education authorities in Algiers downtown has reached 665. Some candidates submitted their demands at their schools and at the Examinations National Offices and its subsidies.

Sellal will honor sucessful candidates who got excellent scores at Palais du Peuple in Algiers in behalf of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika who is in France for treatment. They will fly to Malaysia and Turkey to spend their holidays there.
