Baccalureate successful candidates rush for physical education and law specialties
Preliminary enrollment at universities for people who have passed the Baccalaureate exam will expire on Saturday.
Many candidates applied for physical education, medicine, law and foreign languages specialties. The University of Algiers 1 will allow its students to definitively enroll on its website.
Superintendent of schools at the University of Algiers Taher Hadjar told Echorouk the number of students who enrolled at Fac central from Sunday to Tuesday reached 515. Of them, 190 enrolled on the first day, 213 on the second day and 112 on the third day. A total of 500 students enrolled at the Law University.
He added that a large number of students applied for physical education as it may be easy to them to get hired after graduation.
According to Hadjar, preliminary enrollment will finish on July 31st. Confirmation process will start on July 14 and will last for two days.
On July 23rd, universities will inform the successful candidates of the selected specialties.
