Libya is restoring its security stability gradually, and is moving towards the completion of the construction of a modern state, Kamal Razzak Bara, Adviser to the President in charge of the Security File, said.

“All indicators show that modern Libya establishes the logic of the state, and saying that the Libyan authorities have failed to impose their control and restore security is false”.

Bara was asked on the sidelines of the opening of the Forum on the “Regional Engineering Security in the Sahel”, that was held at the Higher School of Political Science in Algiers, about the security situation in Libya and the implications of the spread of weapons that have affected the internal stability, and the failure of the current authorities in restoring security, he said; “All indicators show that modern Libya establishes gradually the logic of the state. Algeria will sign Security Agreements with Libya during the visit of the Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal to Tripoli by the end of the month, considering it a sign of a return to its real context in this State”.

For his part, Mr. Mohamed Barkouk, an expert in the security file, considered the statements by American Security Officials and Politicians about the unwillingness of the United States of America in the militarization of Africa, as being just political statements for media consumption, and the truth is the continuing work to Washington in order to extend its military influence military in the Sahel, similar to what happens in Azerbaijan, where the presence of U.S. military forces under the pretext of restoring security to the region, as well as visits of drones in Somalia, and the agreements that were signed by the United States on the status of forces, all these points have the same objective which is presence in Africa”.

The security expert warned on the other hand, of the risk which may be produced by security tensions in Libya after the return of instability.

In his intervention during the forum, Noureddine Dokhane, a professor at the University of M’sila, said that the Sahel region is living a random violence officially by armed groups that are scattered in the region, with the registration of repeated threats, including the problem of the “Touareg” tribes, which pulled even on neighboring countries such as Algeria, and large migration of refugees in several border cities like Ain Gazzam, Ain Saleh and Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
