Bouteflika Receives South Africa President’s Special Envoy

President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has received on Monday Mr Charles Nqakula, Special Envoy of South Africa President Jacob Zuma.

Delegate Minister for African and Maghreb Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel has attended the meeting.

At the end of the discussions, Mr Nqakula told reporters “We have discussed problems facing Africa and we tried to evoke together solutions that our both countries may contribute through their positive attitudes.”

He further indicated that “in addition to political problems that Africa witnesses, we have discussed other problems, such as drought that causes famine storming the African horn region,” adding “For sure, we don’t possess immediate solutions but we are ready to seize each opportunity to get together and treat such problems, as Algeria and South Africa have always worked on that trend to treat problems facing our continent.”
