Bouteflika: we will not hesitate to punish persons involved in corruption

Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika Tuesday said law power will not hesitate to punish everyone involved in corruption and wrongdoings.

On Evian Accords celebration, Bouteflika said big projects are for the nation and need competences. “Because of that, there is no need to seize the opportunity to be rich in an illegal way.”

The president’s address was read by his personal representative Ali Boughazi in a national meeting about the National Popular Army.

“The date of March 19^th is a decisive phase in Algeria’s history where national spirit is clear.”

Bouteflika also said freedoms will be guaranteed to all Algerians and they are free to choose their favored tendency. “Yet when it comes to the nation’s high interest, all of them get united as their ancestors did in their fight against colonizers.”
