Bouteflika's illness eliminates the Complementary Finance Law

Government “will not resort to a Complementary Finance Law for 2013”, Finance Minister Karim Djoudi said.

 

“First Finance Act is valid until the end of the current fiscal year”, Finance Minister, Karim Djoudi added.

On the sidelines of the opening of the Autumn Session of the National Assembly, Karim Djoudi noted that there is no Complementary Financial Law for the current year, adding that all the operations that are recorded in the budget of the Complementary Finance Law for the current year, which was canceled and has been carried over to the Finance Law for next year, which is under preparation.

Finance Minister asserted that the Finance Act for the year 2014 includes new taxes, considering that this issue should be discussed by the Council of Ministers.

Finance Law 2013 is expected to realize a growth of more than 5%, and a budget deficit of approximately 18% of the total national income.
