Children’s killers must be executed in public, says parents

Parents of two children kidnapped and killed in the province of Constantine (east of Algiers) wants the murders to be executed in public as they were sentenced to death on Sunday.

Ibrahim’s mother: I must see the criminals hung

Ibrahim’s father had a hope that his unique son would come back home. He insists on executing the two murderers while his six daughters considered the trial as a live shooting of the tragic event.

“We lost time and space notions when we came back home after the trial. Every corner in the house reminded us of Ibrahim. We did not eat at Iftar time. Fortunately, faith gave us strength and patience. We went to the mosque for tarawih prayer,” Ibrahim’s sisterAbir told Echorouk on Sunday.

His two other sisters Loubna and Malek could not stop crying and insists on executing the killers and their associate Bilel who gave them food.

Haroune’s father: the third suspect is accomplice and he must be executed

The same sadness prevailed in the house of Haroune Boudaria who was kidnapped and killed by the two criminals. His mother is crying all the time and believes that the death sentence is useless if it is not applied.

The victim’s father said the third suspect is an accomplice as he gave food to the murders and must be executed as well.

Death penalty has not been applied in Algeria since the Houari Bouemdiene Airport terrorist act. All the murders who were sentenced to death live in the so-called Death Corridor in different jails.
