Citizens clash with heads of Political Parties in many Algerian cities

Security services opened investigations on the attacks against the leaders of political parties during their election campaign in some cities, in anticipation to the upcoming 10 May legislative electionsis.

In this context, sources from the General Directorate of the National Security, said that their services opened investigations into the attempt to attack the political parties during the rallies and festivals that were organized in anticipation of the legislative elections, either by filing a complaints directly by the leaders and heads of political parties and their representatives, or in the context of regulatory measures that provide conduct of the election campaign in the best circumstances, in accordance with the instructions of the Director-General of National Security, which stressed the need to register all actions that would disturb the elections, and not to overlook the excesses committed during the election process, either by the candidates or by votes, especially as the heads of the parties are accompanied during all movements of a number of men belonging to the national security.
