Consultations, contacts to gather Algerian islamists
Consultations that are taking place currently at high levels in Algerian Islamic movements to reach a plan for gathering the brotherhood, especially since the legal frameworks do not represent an obstacle before such initiatives, Idriss Rabbouh, leader in the movement for change says.
“The initiative which started with an individual and isolated way from time to time, until it reached the leaders, as its features started to be clear after the meeting of Abou Jarra Soltani, head of MSP party, and Abdelmadjid Menasra, head of the movement for change in Istanbul, Turkey, which represented a preliminary step of the initiative, which will start first by unifying the sons of sheikh Nahnah Mahfoud, who are divided between MSP and the movement for change and TADJ led by Amar Ghoul, as this was launched at the leadership and basic levels of the two parties MSP and the movement for change through discussion, communication and promises by both parties, while TADJ is still continuing consultations with brotherhood to join the two movements”, Rabbouh added.
“Mechanisms of the initiative remain far from lights and media in attempt to make it succeed. I think one of the options will be dissolving parties and the meeting of the brotherhood from all movements in an association of an educational characteristic or political party”.
Concerning the results of this initiative, Rebbouh asserted that it will be for the week end with positive news, especially as the aims are continuing in the right direction.
