Coronavirus: Tebboune Orders State Institutions To Raise Threat Alert To The Highest Level”

On Sunday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered all institutions to raise the alert level and alertness against the Coronavirus to the highest, confirming that the state is ready for all possibilities.

According to a cabinet statement, the President of the Republic ordered “all state institutions and services to raise the threat alert level to the highest, and ensure constant coordination among them so that the citizen feel reassured because any neglect here or inaction there leads to a slowdown in saving the lives of the injured and increases the area of the epidemic.

President Tebboune asserted that the citizen’s primary responsibility is the discipline and respect for preventive measures, and called for dealing closely with those who violate these instructions to preserve the safety of the nation.

“Many thanks to the health personnel, including specialists, doctors, paramedical corps, civil protection, state agents, and collective movements for their efforts in the context of fighting the epidemic, and preserving the safety of citizens. Their efforts and sacrifices will not be lost in vain because the state is proud of them today and will recompense them when the crisis is over, and life will resume its normal course”.

He also thanked the initiators for their beautiful work, whether by cleaning the streets, sterilizing spaces, and overcrowding places, or by reporting speculators, or by contributing to their research in the laboratories.

He praised every effort to uphold the nation’s interest in this difficult circumstance, and everyone who took preventive action to protect him/herself and the community.

It was concluded that the state is preparing for all possibilities to prevent and combat the spread of the epidemic, which, with God willing, will overcome with calm, solidarity, discipline and patience.
