Criminality: International gangs smuggle Algerian illegal immigrants to Europe via Turkey

Algiers criminal court will open in its next session, the case of five defendants from Chlef and Telemcen, Western Algeria, who were implicated in an international illegal immigrants trafficking cell, which smuggle Algerians to Europe via Turkey, for large sums of money, using the support of people who left Algeria with the same way.

 

      

 According to Echorouk sources, the file’s merits back to 17/06/2010, after the security services of the western province of judicial police, arrested three people (two employees and a taxi driver), following information, while they were on board of a car type “Renault Clio” in the municipality of Ben Aknoune near the technical institute of finance and accounting, and found a bag containing 31 passports of Algerians from Chlef, and seized six mobile phones.   

 Investigations reveal that the passports were handed over by an Algerian living in Turkey, for a person from Telemcen to bring them to Algeria for 10.000 dinars, then the accused received them in Houari Boumediene airport inside a bag, as the passeports belong to people living in Europe illegally, who inteded to gave them to their relatives to use them for illegal immigration for 50.000 dinars. Therefor the arrested will face the crime of organizing a criminal cell to smuggle illegal immigrants.
