Decisive meeting between Raouraoua and Halilhodzic
President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua is expected to hold a decisive meeting on Thursday with Algeria coach Vahid Halilhodzic in Algiers.
Raouraoua and Halilhodzic have not met since the 2014 World Cup finals draw held in Brazil on December 6th. A conflict was triggered between them following remarks made by each other.
According to sources, the meeting will come up with crucial decisions as it will deal with a number of issues including the conflict and preparation program ahead of the World Cup.
Raouraoua and Halilhodzic may enter in conflict once again as the FAF’s president is still unsatisfied about the coach’s remarks he made in the end of 2013.
Raouraoua will not ask Halilhodzic to extend his contract with the national team but will encourage him financially to lead the team to the second round for the first time in their history.
