Did Benzema Regret The Choice To Play For The French Football Team?

The star of the Spanish Real Madrid team, Karim Benzema, has returned, to show his attachment to the land of his Algerian father.

Karim Benzema published a tweet through which he was wearing the jersey of Real Madrid, taking with him a young child, who was only Benzema during his childhood days when he played for the French team, Olympique Lyon.

This came in the most recent tweet of the striker Karim Benzema. The Algerian flag appeared behind the young man and child, Benzema, the background that is unlikely to have been chosen by chance.

Previously, Benzema had appeared wearing the jersey of the Algerian national team, after the “Greens” won the Africa Cup of Nations in mid-July in Egypt.

Benzema may have regretted the choice to play for France, the country with an abominable colonial past, which oppressed his football career and where he suffered injustice and political discrimination.

Karim Benzema is still showing good performance in stadiums, where he scored 20 goals and 7 assists, in all official club competitions this season.
