Djabellah:”Nothing prevents TV from filming Bouteflika in hospital?”

Abdellah Djabellah, head of the Party for Justice and Development, said in popular assembly on Saturday in Oran, western Algeria, that the Algerian constitution is one of the worst in the world, because it did not address all the rights and freedoms, and includes intentional ambiguity and deliberate vacuum.

“Constitutional amendment should not collide with the constants of the nation and the statement of November 1st. Power since 50 years in Algeria did not respect this statement in its democratic , social and Islamic dimensions, therefor a new institution should be created to resolve the reference and the state’s characteristics and nature”.

“The constitution of 1996 is not based on justice and equality, and this results in the a movement of protests in the south. It turned the executive, judicial and legislative authorities to institutions which exercise jobs, in light of the absence of controlling institutions that control even the president himself. Corruption cases like the East-West highway which declared that the companies which realised it are not responsible for maintenance does not exist in the whole world”.

Concerning Bouteflika’s Health, Djabellah said that the power despises the people because it is the last to know about the truth of his illness, and let it lost in the conflicting news. Illness is neither a shame nor an insult, but the power dealt like this with such files since the independence just like Boumediene’s illness. Television could have been sent a team to the hospital of Valle de Grace in Paris, to film the President in hospital in order to confirm his health situation.
