Droudkel named new leader to reactivate dormant cells in the Sahara
The terrorist organisation known as Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb( AQIM) has named Nabil Abu Aalkema as the new leader in the desert region in replacement of the former chieftain Yahia Djouadi and entrusted him with supervising the activities of the terrorist groups in the Sahara.

Abu Aalkema is the in the Sahara region after the main founder Khaled Abu Al Abbas known “Belaaouar” who led the so called “veiled squad” since 2006.

Reliable sources has quoted the Mauritanian news agency “ Nouakchott News Agency” saying that Nabil Abu Aalkema ,whose real name is Mekhloufi Nabil, has been appointed in mid November

The new leader counts among the most influential leaders in the organization and was a member in the terrorist organization Salafis Group for Preach and Combat ( GSPS) and also the notorious terrorist group Islamic Armed Group ( GIA).

The leader of the AQIM Abdelmalek Droudkel has made him responsible for the supervision of the terrorist groups that operate in the Sahara region three years ago, after year of dissentions among their ranks.
