Echorouk publishes details about promotions, transfers in Customs' sector
General Directorate of Customs decided to launch a large process of promotions and transfers on July 5th, for 750 agents and officials to various ranks, as some of them will lead important tasks parallel to the promotion of 1500 customs to higher ranks, according to the scale of years, through internal competitions.
Same directorate decided to promote regional inspectors and managers to the rank of principle general inspector, a rank that was integrated according to what was included in the basic law of the sector, and in parallel the sector will notice a movement of transfers by the end of the month.
An official source from the General Directorate of Customs told Echorouk that the equal committee decided after studying the files to promote 750 customs from various ranks because they fulfil the necessary terms.
Internal competitions will also open to promote the deans inspectors to the rank of general inspector according to what came in the new basic law on customs sector, and which needs seniority in the office through the competitions of promoting 1500 customs agents in various ranks, including 750 agents and officials according to seniority from 5 years and plus, and 750 others on the basis of choice from 10 years and more.
