Echoroukonline to publish exclusive video contents on Mohamed Merah before his death

Me Zahia Mokhtari, the lawyer of the family of Mohamed Merah, who was killed on March 22 by French policemen from the Raid brigade in the southern city of Toulouse, has filed a legal complaint against the French police.

• Echoroukonline has obtained the exclusive content of two video recordings now in the possession of lawyer Zahia Mokhtari and showing the last moments preceding the death of encircled Mohamed Merah who was finally gunned down by Raid policemen after 32 hour-long siege of his Toulouse flat.
• Through these two video recordings, Mohamed Merah is said to have had negotiations with the Raid forces.

• One of the video recordings which is to be handed over to the French justice, harks back to the murky circumstances surrounding Merah’s death as well as to a relationship Merah had with an element of the French secret services namely Captain Jussayer.

• The latter was accused by Merah of having “betrayed him”, as he put it.

• Before his death, Mohamed Merah left a will in which he claimed his innocence, according to his lawyer Zahia Mokhtari.
