Echourok newspaper offers a big truck loaded with medicines for the inhabitants of Gaza

The first delegation of the humanitarian convoy bound for Gaza “Life line 5” comprising 50 individuals yesterday departed awaiting the second one set to move tomorrow from Echourok premises in its quality as the official sponsor of this initiative in Algeria and the Maghreb.

The Algerian delegation will fly from Houari Boumedienne intentional airport heading for Syria to join the other delegations, and then move to Latakieh port where the aids will be funnelled towards the port of Al Aarich before arriving to Gaza through Rafah passage.

The humanitarian convoy will dwell there three days as agreed upon between the members of the delegations. The Algerian delegation comprises 120 individuals including parliamentarians, artists and party leaders.

In a declaration to Echourok, the coordinator of the Maghreb countries has indicated that all the procedures were undertaken in Syria to host the international delegations that pass through its soil and territorial waters. The organizing committee is speeding up preparations to welcome the humanitarian convoy on the Syrian territory and it’s up to the Egyptian authorities to deal with the operation afterwards.

The Algerian Popular Committee has indicated, in this respect, that “ Life line 5” comprises three international convoys, the Arab East convoy led by Jordan, the Maghreb convoy led by Algeria and the European one led by the former British MP George Galloway.
