Education: Emergency Committee to save the students from repetition, raise the success rate

Syndicate of Independent National Council for the Secondary and Technical School Teachers (CNAPEST), pledged to take charge pupils “pedagogically” for the success of the educational process, on the other hand, Ministry of National Education announced that the committee that is charged with the task of studying ways of being aware in the performance of its work, starts here on Sunday, in ensuring the success of the largest possible number of students in the exams.

CNAPEST added in its final statement, after a meeting with the General Manager of Public Service, under the supervision of Prime Minister, in charge of improving the public service, Mohammed Ghazi, that it will learn from the missed lessons due to the protest movement, which lasted four weeks, having taken the decision to suspend the strike and resume the study.

“All teachers are called to compensate for the content of the lessons by focusing on the essential things, according to a deliberate calendar, and avoid compensation in a number of lessons, because the most important is the achievement of the quality rather than the quantity. When government intervened to lift the dispute between the Syndicate and the Education Ministry, has pledged to issue a document corresponding to the results of the Second National Conference of the Syndicate, and the issuance of a license that allows the integration of experienced staff in basic grades unconditionally with enabling those who meet the requirements of required experience to reach the new ranks, as well as the adoption of an interim measure that extends until 2017, and allows the upgrading of mechanism through upgrading to higher levels, and issuing an instruction to the Education Ministry, regarding the embodiment of recorded obligations in the registers of meetings between the Syndicate and the Ministry without forgetting the preparation of applicable instructions for the signed agreements by the services of the General Directorate of Public Service to ensure uniformity in the procedures that are relating to integration and promotion in various grades for teaching, and to avoid any unfair interpretation”.

For its part, National Education Ministry registered with satisfaction, the return of the striking teachers to the study, in contrast it announced in a statement, which copy is available to Echorouk, the inauguration of a “Committee” that includes professional educators, which is entrusted with the task of studying the best ways to rectify the lessons that are not taught because of the unrest that the sector noticed in recent times, that will start its work from today, and will take gradually the lessons at the level of each state and each educational institution, as well as not to cause disturbance of pupils in schools, pointing out that after it will end its work, it will be prepare a “publication” on the basis of recommendations, to be sent to all Directorates of Education, and which will be applied in the field.
