The decision has stirred the temporary teachers’ anger as many of them have received notice from the civil service department to quit their posts because they refused to be recruited in different specialities than theirs.
-
-
The education ministry has decided to make an exception to the law for those holding Bas in foreign languages with the move to offset the shortage of teachers.
-
-
The move was vehemently denounced by the temporary teachers whose national committee held a meeting to discuss the decision before resuming their movement of strike as of today.
-
-
They have demanded the integration of all the teachers that spent years teaching and refused to be excluded from the recruitment.

-
To recall, the civil service department has cancelled thousands of job applications following instructions issued by the education ministry in March 2011.
