Education Ministry to meet with Syndicates to Discuss Basic law

The strike called by the Syndicate of Education and Training Workers will start here on Sunday, in order to support the “Miserables of Education “, particularly the category of common services, which counted over 130 thousand employees.

The strike will last for three days, before the two days’ strike of the Council of Professors of Secondary and Technical Education‭.

National Syndicate of Education and Training Staff decided to launch a three days strike from Sunday, in order to reconsider the fundamental laws, grants and compensations of the common services employees, and workers of training, agents of security and prevention, and improving their social and professional situation with reviewing their classification‭, according to what suits their tasks. ‬

The education sector will launch a third strike programmed for this month starting from Apil 17, a strike which was called by the syndicate of users of public services.This category demanded the grants of geographic area based on the new salary instead of the wage base of 1989, and to update calculation of ‭ grant privilege of ‭this area ‭on the basis of ‭ new main salary‭.
