Education: NOEC determined teachers' prohibited acts during surveillance in official exams
National Office of Exams and Competitions determined a set of prohibited acts by teachers surveillants during the three official exams.
During the task of surveillance teachers should not read newspapers, books, use cell phones, stand in front of pupils or talk to them to speak about any subject.
Ministerial instruction includes the way of organizing official exams, and the tasks of teachers surveillants, saying that they should avoid being in one place or talk to each others, or to pupils or try to hint to a subject of the exam, and walk or stand before candidates or in front of the door.
Same instruction called upon teachers to avoid standing in the doors of exams’ rooms, or stay or be busy with everything other than surveillance, and avoid talking in cell phones.
Teachers are also asked to commit, after the end of every exam, to collect the pupils’ exam papers even if they do not finish answering all questions, then make sure that answers include all the necessary data that should comply with the required data, ending it with a signature.
Surveillants should make sure that candidates hand over their exam papers even if they are blank with the necessary to take a special measure in the case of white papers, which is accompanying them with a detailed report.
Education Ministry’s instruction said that people in charge of reception and control should be of both sexes for inspection, and heads of centers should receive surveillants half an hour at least before starting any exam to hand over the files of rooms to members of communication who in turn gave them to managers of rooms, and identify the list of attendants, and compensate the latecomers, and absences after making sure of their identities.
Requisitions from Internet can be withdrawn until May 15, as the process started late on April 15.
