Ministry of National Education released the Regional Calendar of Seminars and National Symposium, which will be held from next August 25 on the preparation for the start of the School Year 2013/2014, and therefore the problem of “overcrowding” is strongly posed in the three educational stages because of the low rate of success in the baccalaureate which led to an increase in the number of repeaters.

Ministry of Education contacted the Directorates of Education, asking them to prepare for the works of Regional Seminars about the new School Year, using the technique of “video lecture”, as it is decided to hold the Regional Seminar of the southern Wilayas on August 25 in Biskra, on August 26 in Tizi Ouzou for Central Wilayas , in Annaba on 27 August for Eastern Wilayas, and on 28 August for Western Wilayas in Sidi Bel Abbes, therefore the Minister of National Education Baba Ahmed Abdelatif will continue works of seminars, to conclude these Seminars with holding a national symposium on education managers next August 31 at the headquarters of the ministry.

National Secretary in charge of Information and Communication at the Independent National Council of the Secondary School Teachers, Messaoud Bodiba, told Echorouk that the most prominent pedagogical problems that are expected to arise in the  start of the New School Year, is “overcrowding” in the three educational phases “primary, middle and secondary”, and in particular the secondary stage.
