Education personnel to follow training in modern technologies

The education ministry has launched a series of seminars for the benefit of its personnel with the aim to upgrade their skills in the field of new communication technologies.

• A first seminar held here in Algiers has brought together superintendants from different corners of the country. The workshop was dedicated to the teaching of physics with the use of modern communication technologies pending the generalization of the experience to the other scientific matters.

• The education minister Abu Bakr  Ben Bouzid has set up a steering committee chaired by the inspector general in charge of pedagogy Samir Boubeker who was entrusted with assessing the current situation within the framework of the reforms of the education sector initiated by the relevant ministry.

•  

• To reach the objectives mapped out by the ministry, some half a million employees from the education sector including teachers, inspectors and headmasters will follow a training in modern technologies.
