Education scandal: Bac results disturb university registrations

Computer choices chocked the successful in the bac graduation, as disciplines were equally divided between the holders of the baccalaureate degree “acceptable” and “good” and “close to good”, while those who succeeded in the bac with a degree “acceptable” were granted 25 specialties, and those who succeeded in the bac degree with “acceptable” got 65 specialties.

Pupils who passed the baccalaureate exam with a degree “close to good” and “good” were surprised because the computer gave them disciplines that do not fit with the rate which they got, as they were granted more than 10 specialties, that can be accessed without the requirement of degree like theatre, archaeology, libraries, law, social sciences and communication, despite the fact that the Division, which they got is a Division of experimental sciences and mathematics.

Rate of successful in the baccalaureate declined with an estimated difference of 30.000 students, compared to last season, on a rolling enrolment of rates to join medicine, pharmacy, dental surgery, as computer granted them more than 14/20, while it was granted last year only to those who won the baccalaureate degree with 15.75, as speculating also rose on some of the technical disciplines like engineering disciplines and automated media and public works, as the ministry identified 14/20  a rate for fingernail for these disciplines.
