Education: Second season's exams canceled, experimental BAC fixed

National Education Ministry decided to program second season’s exams of the educational institutions that did not wen in strike, on March 2, with postponing it to the month of April for institutions that went on strike for four weeks, at a time some Directorates of Education proposed cancelling the second quarter for pupils of final sections, and keep the “experimental baccalaureate”.

Echorouk informed sources, said the Education Ministry approved the Freedom of Education Directorates to prepare a “plan” for correcting the missed lessons due to the strike, which is behind the loss of between 10 and 17 hours in each subject for all the specialties, due to the specificity of each institution in every Wilaya, on the grounds that there are institutions which went on strike for four weeks, and another which joined them in last week.
There are institutions which went on strike in some modules only. Thing which authorize the institutions with the task of diagnosing the situation, through involving teachers, inspectors and parents of pupils and students.
Regarding the first chapter’s exams, it was decided to postpone them to April, which coincides with the start of the third season of the educational institutions that are striking.
