Educational institutions deprived of specialized teachers across the country

More than 5 thousand jobs have not been allocated to their applicants in the education sector, preliminary figures have revealed.

• Meanwhile, exams are underway to recruit 6 thousand new teachers to offset the deficit in the different educational institutions across the country.

• Despite this drastic lack of teachers in over 4800 intermediary schools and 1800 high schools, the education ministry didn’t react accordingly to remedy the situation especially in the domain of music and information technology.

• The Secretary General of the National Education Federation Ferhat Chabekh has declared to Echorouk that “ IT equipment acquired with staggering sums of money are now in disrepair on account of the absence of fit engineers and IT men to maintain them”.
