Egyptian squad coach angry with international striker Amrou Zaki
In a declaration made to “Echourok†yesterday the Egyptian squad coach assistant Chawki Gherib has staunchly criticised the attitude of the international striker Amr Zaki and the nervousness he showed in the match that opposed his club “Ezzamalek†versus “El Djouna†that forced the referee to exclude him in the last minutes of the fixture.

The coach insisted on the fact that the international players have to keep calm during the matches especially before the decisive rendez- vous versus the Algerian squad as this one requires a lot of calm.

-
The coach has declared that the staff doesn’t know how to deal with this player for the moment after the unacceptable behaviour he showed during the match which prevented him from taking part to the last official fixture slated for Saturday as part of the Egyptian local league, days before the match versus Algeria.

-
However, he hinted to the possibility of “chiding” the player in order not to disturb the general mood surrounding the Egyptian squad especially that this one cannot afford to exclude any player at this crucial period of the competition.

-
The referee: The player uttered obscenities and deserved to be excluded.

For his part, the referee Abderraouf Yasser has declared to “Echourok” that he was pushed to address the red card against Amr zaki because this one has uttered obscenities” Amr Zaki has insulted the linesman that’s why I excluded him”, he said.

-
Meanwhile the Egyptian international Amr Zaki has denied insulting the linesman and revealed to “Echourok” that the referee hastened in showing the red card because what he said to the linesman didn’t deserve expulsion, but what is done is done.

The player went on to say that this incident will not impact on his participation with his national squad versus Algeria, adding that he has discussed with his head coach and the other members of the staff to give his version of facts. He promised them to keep concentrated pending the match versus Algeria.
